Are you spellbound by scales? Fascinated by fangs? Vivified by venom? Then this is the program for you! In this program, you will learn how to identify many of Alabama’s venomous and nonvenomous snakes and be given resources to further your education. You will meet six species of live, nonvenomous snakes. All venomous snakes will be displayed as lifelike models. Snakes are ssspectacular!

*Please note that nonvenomous, live snakes, including large snakes, will be free-handled in the classroom for the entirety of this program*

Accessibility: This program will be ADA-accessible. It is in a wheelchair- and stroller- accessible building with air conditioning and bathrooms.

This program is lecture-based and may not be engaging for children below the age of 12.
