We invite our members to gather around the campfire for a special evening at Red Mountain Park! Hear firsthand from Evanne Batain Gibson, Jefferson County Greenways Commission Member, about growing up on the mountain and her late brother Ervin Batain’s work to preserve and share its history.

The evening will also include opportunities to enjoy s’mores and drinks, watch videos highlighting Red Mountain Park’s history, and learn more about the people, places, and stories that shaped the park.

This event will take place near the Red Mountain Park Restrooms & Pavilion at the Frankfurt Drive entrance to the park.

This event is for Jefferson County Greenways members. Not a member yet, but want to join the fun? Become a member here and then register!

Accessibility: This program will be held in and around a covered pavilion with ADA accessible restrooms. Seating will be available. There is a short gravel path with a slight incline to get up to the pavilion area.

Disclaimer: This program has limited seating available. Please register by Wednesday, November 4, to attend. Please email programs@jeffcogreenways.org if you are unable to attend.
