Join local artist and instructor, Celeste Amparo Pfau, for an introductory workshop that invites you to explore the intersection of fine art and the Alabama landscape. Using both a traditional etching press and Gelli plates, you will create one-of-a-kind prints that honor the seasonal complexity and beauty of our local environment. All supplies will be provided.

*Session 1 and Session 2 of this workshop are identical. Please sign up for one session only.

Celeste Amparo Pfau is a Birmingham-based fine artist and educator at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. While her practice is anchored in the traditional and experimental techniques of botanical printmaking, she is an interdisciplinary creator whose work explores the relationships between bodies, both human and non-human, natural and urban landscapes, and natural and cultural ecological systems.
