
Join Alabama Audubon for a bird-watching walk as part of their Nature at Noon series.
Every month, Alabama Audubon offers Nature at Noon. This hour-long Friday lunchtime walk that explores different natural areas across the state. In January, they’re coming to Turkey Creek Nature Preserve. The Preserve is home to several endangered species and protects some of the region’s most unique and ecologically rich habitats, making it a great place to bird watch!
Accessibility: The walk will be approximately .5 miles on gravel and pavement, with moderate uphill and downhill changes. Participants can stay on the flat paved portions of the road if necessary. Portable restrooms and resting benches will be available.
