Hello!

You are invited to join us at the Ruffner Mountain Nature Center for our annual End of Year Campaign! We are in need of volunteers to help us stuff mailing envelopes to send out to all of our current members, community partners, and donors to garner on-going support for our organization. We will be providing coffee, drinks, and snacks for anyone who can come, so click the registration link below to view and sign up for the available shifts. If you have some spare time to dedicate to this initiative, please consider helping us this week! For any questions, reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Sloan Miles (volunteer@jeffcogreenways.org).

Location: Ruffner Mountain Nature Center Meeting Room

Time: Shifts from 9:30am - 12:30pm, 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Dates: Monday, November 3rd - Friday, November 7th

Join Erika E. Wade for a morning of inspiration. Erika will share here new poem, Knowing, and lead a writing workshop. Attendees will explore around us and within us. There will be time to enjoy winding creek and waterfall.

"Secret Birmingham" Reading and Hike

Join Cherith Fluker, author of "Secret Birmingham: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure" as she shares excerpts from her book and more Birmingham fun facts and history (including Ruffner Mountain!). Afterwards, you can join us for a hike on the Trillium Trail.

Red Mountain Pollinator Garden Workday

Calling all Volunteers! Come join our Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteer Lead, Larry Stephens, for our monthly Red Mountain Pollinator Garden workdays.

Pilates & Hiking Program
