Docent volunteers serve as greeters at our greenspaces promoting our programmatic events, volunteer opportunities, membership options, the histories of our greenspaces, etc.. Docent volunteers can also lead nature hikes and educational outdoor excursions for visitors and families on the weekends. If you like to connect with people and give back to our greenspaces in a meaningful way, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Highlights:
- Communicating with park and preserve visitors
- Educating adults and youth using bio-facts and other educational materials
- Assistance with way-finding and suggesting points of interest
