Interested in learning more about the benefits of native plants and how to incorporate them into your landscaping? Join local horticulturist and landscaper, Molly Hendry, and Jefferson County Greenways Conservation Director, Jamie Nobles, to learn more about Alabama native plants, different ways to add native plants to your yard, and planting methods. You will also get a tour of the Ruffner Mountain Habitat Garden to delve deeper into specific types of native plants and plant identification.

‍Accessibility: This program will be held in a wheelchair-accessible building with air conditioning and bathrooms. There are sidewalks and paved paths you can stay on to view the habitat garden.
