Support us
Jefferson County Greenways is a public-private partnership dedicated to caring for Red Moutain Park, Ruffner Mountain, and Turkey Creek Nature Preserve. Our public greenspaces are supported by our community of visitors, members, volunteers, and private and public partners. Your generosity sustains and enhances these greenspaces for everyone. Join us in showing what matters to you–whether it’s improving your health, protecting land for people, plants, and animals, or connecting to local history–your support through time, talent, or financial contribution helps make our community a special place to live.

East Side Park
We believe the outdoors should be accessible and enjoyable for all. Help us create an innovative, universally accessible nature space that welcomes everyone! This park will showcase Alabama's diverse ecosystems, providing a place for multiple generations to explore, connect, and enjoy nature together.
Donate
Your contribution makes guided hikes, habitat restoration, conservation research, and educational field trips possible while also maintaining and improving trails in your favorite greenspaces. Whether it’s a donation in addition to your annual membership or naming the greenspaces in your estate plans, every gift matters!

Partner & Sponsor
Your support through partnership and sponsorship helps protect and enhance the county’s three largest publicly accessible greenspaces—vital assets that contribute to our local economy and quality of life. These greenspaces benefit everyone who lives, works, and plays here, and your involvement supports all three pillars that help our community thrive.
Volunteer
Volunteering meaningfully improves our greenspaces and connects you to your community! By helping care for the places we love, volunteers foster a sense of pride, belonging, and stewardship for our shared lands and waterways.
